HSE Manager

Inspirec are seeking a forward thinking and technically excellent Health and Safety manager, who will be responsible for the co-ordination, promotion and implementation of effective Health and safety plans and systems to ensure legal requirements are met.
Your main tasks will include the following:
• Establishment and operation of practices and procedures as part of the HSE management system
• Co-ordinate with HSE inspections, reports, meetings and training for audits
• Evaluation of contractor safety improvement plans
• Coach personnel, supervisors and management to improve their capability in HSE matters
• Advise managers on technical and regulatory issues
• Lead investigations and undertake root cause analysis of significant incidents
You should be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of HSE practices, and have at least 3 years of experience in an HSE management capacity within the Oil and Gas industry. You will possess an excellent knowledge of OH&S and ACC legislation and its application in the workplace.
Strong organisational skills in relation to planning, time management, record keeping and administration are vital, as well as excellent communication skills.
